Physical Therapist Biography

Mary is originally from the United Kingdom, she moved to the US with her family in 2003. She graduated with a BSc from The Royal London Hospital, London, England and has almost 40 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
Mary joined Barrow Brain and Spine, Ahwatukee in 2007 as a staff physical therapist. She is constantly striving to improve her skills and seeking ways to grow within her practice through continuing education and most recently certified in Dry Needling, Myofascial Release and Maitland manual therapy. Mary has worked in Orthopedics for the past 20 years and has specialized in the treatment of spinal conditions. Coming from the UK gives her a unique perspective on her approach to patient care combining her physical therapy skills with an emphasis on empowering her patients. She is a great motivator and is deeply committed to delivering effective and quality care.
In her spare time she likes to maintain her own healthy lifestyle, volunteer with teenagers, hike, explore the US and travel as much as possible.
