Phoenix, Arizona – As of February 1, 2018, physicians from Ahwatukee Sport and Spine have joined Barrow Brain and Spine , Arizona’s largest neurosurgery practice group and world-renowned team of experts dedicated to neuroscience care and research. The addition of Ahwatukee Sports and Spine, the premier non-surgical sports and spine medical practice in Arizona, enhances the existing non-surgical sports and spine team, and will enable Barrow Brain and Spine to become a leader in an integrative approach to spine care not only in Arizona, but in the United States.

Drs. Scott Kreiner, John Kozak, Wes Crisp and Timothy Sanford, along with their talented staff, will continue to provide world-class care at their 4530 Muirwood Drive location. This new location for Barrow Brain and Spine offers easier access to world-class care throughout the valley and improve the coordination of care between our neurosurgeons, pain management, non-surgical spine and physical therapy for patients in the East Valley.

We will work with our patients to make the integration as smooth as possible. For our patients’ convenience, our phone numbers and staff will remain unchanged.

Barrow Brain and Spine has seven locations throughout the Valley and an affiliation with Barrow Neurological Institute. Barrow Brain and Spine was the first neurosurgery practice in Arizona and was established in 1960 by Dr. John Green. Dr. Robert Spetzler, Dr. Green’s successor, transformed Barrow into one of the best neuroscience centers in the world and one of the leading neurosurgery residency and fellowship training programs in the world. Dr. Michael Lawton, Dr. Spetzler’s successor, now leads the Barrow Neurological Institute’s continued growth and expansion.
