Frequently Asked Questions

It’s understandable to have many questions about your condition, your treatment plan, and navigating the health and insurance system. While we’re always available to help answer any specific questions you might have, we’ve compiled a list of some of the more common inquiries.

Planning and Scheduling Your Appointment

  • What do I bring to my appointment?

Make sure you have an updated MRI CD (within the last six months), along with any accompanying reports. Also, you’ll need your insurance cards and patient ID.

  • How long will I have to wait to get an appointment?

Many of our physicians do a thorough review of your records prior to scheduling you for an appointment. They want to be sure they understand your unique condition before recommending a time frame to be seen. Each office varies and we recommend calling for more details.

  • Why can’t I schedule an appointment and then bring my records to review at the visit?

Our physicians review all records prior to your appointment to determine how best to proceed. This also allows them to order any necessary additional testing before your appointment, ensuring you have an accurate diagnosis and an appropriate treatment plan.

  • Can you request my records for me for review?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to request records, due to patient privacy. You must be an established patient in order for us to have access to your records. Your records can, however, be sent over by your referring physician, or be provided by you.
