Physical Therapist Biography
Kerry was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, and graduated from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, as a scholar-athlete with a Bachelor of Science and Pre-Physical Therapy Degree in 2008. She then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California, in 2012, and then continued her educational career, completing the Kaiser Permanente Physical Therapy Orthopedic Residency Program in December 2013.
She began her career working in Pasadena, California, in an outpatient orthopedic clinic, where she started and directed an aquatic therapy program in 2013. She returned to Scottsdale to work in Orthopedics/Sports Medicine in 2015 before transferring to the Barrow Brain and Spine clinic downtown Phoenix in June 2017.
Kerry chose a career with Barrow after suffering from chronic shoulder and neck pain after a work injury in 2013 in which she tore her rotator cuff. She had seen many physical therapists and received several injections, but the pain continued to persist for over three years. She then was treated at Barrow for several visits over three months' time and has not experienced pain since. She has been able to return to recreational sports and activities and able to do her job without any limitation or ever needing surgery. Kerry couldn’t be more grateful for the Barrow team and looks forward to continuing to give back to the community the same care and treatment that was given to her.
