Physical Therapist Biography
Eric is the manager of the 3090 Physical Therapy Department at Barrow Neurospine & Rehab. He has been a part of the BBS organization since 2011. Prior to arriving at BBS, he worked at an Orthopedic/Sports Medicine facility in the Scottsdale area for 5 years.
Originally from North Dakota, Eric attended the University of North Dakota, where he received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He has held the titles of Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and attended advanced training in Active Release Technique for the spine, Manual Spinal Manipulation, Dry Needling certified, and is Golf Certified by the Titleist Performance Institute.
In addition to his work at BBS, he is an Adjunct Professor at Midwestern University, where he teaches in their Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Eric teaches courses related to Orthopedics and Spine Rehabilitation. Teaching is something he finds great reward in. It allows him to share much of the wonderful knowledge and experience gained at BBS with an upcoming generation of Physical Therapists.
Eric’s been living in Arizona for nearly 12 years now and absolutely loves it here. His family is now all permanent or seasonal residents in Arizona, and Eric and his wife have two children who keep life very busy. Eric’s an exercise enthusiast and is currently registered to participate in Ironman Arizona in November. This keeps his free time quite full, but he wouldn't have it any other way.
